This cute little guy is my dog "Snickers". I was blessed with Snickers when he was 4 months old, he's a Corgi-Poo mix. I have always loved animals but Snickers is the reason I decided to dedicate myself to training and pet care. I have gotten such unconditional love from him I would like others to have the same great relationship with their pets.
My name is Mary Zelnik founder and owner of Doggy's In The Window Training & Pet Care. I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and understanding behavior and its motives. My certification, education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and humanely train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you.
I teach dog owners the art of understanding dog behavior, communication skills, and proper handling of your pet. I use positive reinforcement and gentle, effective handling skills to influence your dog's behavior. I will never use, nor allow, choke chains, prong or shock collars in my sessions.
My goal is to educate you on using humane techniques, teaching you responsible pet care, and motivational dog training.
Join me and let me help you and your dog better understand each other, and build a long and happy relationship!
I am an avid dog and cat lover and have been a long time volunteer at CHA (Citizens for a Humane Society in Westerville, OH). My heart breaks when I see so many unwanted and misunderstood pets with no one to love and care for them and give them good homes. There are a number of reasons dogs and cats are given to animal shelters and one of them is behavior problems. So many of these animals are destroyed because people are not properly informed and educated on how to handle, understand, and communicate with their best friends.
